Greetings, Now that the Gospel of Hip Hop has been released, another chapter in the life story of Hip Hop has been submitted. However, the story of Hip Hop is on-going. And it is now time for you to participate in a more active way toward its future. The Teacha KRS ONE, has shown the example of a True Hiphoppa by his body of work for over 23 years. With this book, he has provided insight on how you too can pursue and maintain a positive Hip Hop lifestyle. So where do you go from here? Where does Hip Hop go from here? To point you in the right direction the Temple of Hip Hop (East Coast Chapter) will be airing a special ‘serminar’ on krsone.biz to address many important questions you may have about what the next step for the Hip Hop community should be. This will be an exclusive and private lesson that only those who register for the on-line serminar will be able to attend. A ‘serminar’ is just what it sounds like. It is a seminar and a sermon. In it the Teacha will address various subjects that will start you on a path to becoming a more educated and active member of the Hip Hop community. If you have a desire to connect with other Hip Hop scholars and gain insight on how to bring about positive change in your community thru Hip Hop, you should definitely join us. In this introductory lesson you will be given answers to many questions on where to go from here. It is especially helpful for those who have begun to read the Gospel of Hip Hop but also very insightful for those who do not yet have their own copy. Throughout the session, references will be cited to refer back to for further study in the Gospel and transcribed as quotes during the program itself. The session will be moderated on-line and the member chatroom will be open for more in-depth discussion. Because it is on-line only, you will be able to review the session in its entirety after its initial airdate on the 20th of December 2009. As a courtesy to our friends around the nation and the globe we have made this class on-line so that everyone who wants to participate can do so without having to travel outside their home. Still, in preparation for a multi-city book tour beginning in January of 2010, we will be giving out necessary information on how to book the Teacha in your area for benefit dinners, book signings and lectures. If you have connection to any community organizers who wish to utilize the power of the Teacha’s presence in 2010, now is the time to get started. This is not just a national tour but an international one. So if you are overseas, you will also have an opportunity to guide this 2010 tour. The topics discussed during the class will help you as a participant of the culture to better understand Hip Hop, yourself and the teaching of the culture as a way of life. Discussion includes: 1. The importance of Self-Creation 2. What does your name mean? 3. Why name yourself 4. Hip Hop as a spiritual community 5. What is the spirituality of the streets? 6. How to become a Hip Hop scholar 7. The importance of Hip Hop history 8. What is the Hip Hop M.A.S.S. movement? These and other topics will be discussed as questions are addressed in the member chatroom by members of the Temple of Hip Hop. To join us on the 20th for the live discussion group or access the session at your leisure for future reference reserve your place by contacting us a serminar@krsone.biz. Registration is $15 thru paypal. Money orders and wire transfers are available by request. Simply contact us at the above email address. I hope you will join us. Peace and Blessings, Kurt Nice, Temple of Hip Hop
