The spiritual gift for the month of OCTOBER is ZEAL.
Your spiritual gift of ZEAL gives you the ability to move forward to fulfill your divine purpose with energy, enthusiasm and joy! Some people believe living your divine purpose requires you to suffer quietly as you, “do the Lord’s work”! Nothing could be further than the truth, in fact, if a person feels this way, it’s only because they have not learned to draw upon their spiritual gift of ZEAL!
When using your gift of ZEAL, you should feel good about what you’re doing. ZEAL is the spiritual energy that gives you the ability to get hyped on the divine ideas from God so you can “go for it” and move those ideas forward into manifestation even when your intellect tries to tell you something different! However, you must also be careful, the energy of ZEAL can also make you, “go overboard” sometimes, that’s where we get the term “zealot” from! Therefore, as with all your spiritual gifts, always use wisdom when applying them to your life.
Without your gift of ZEAL, you wouldn’t have the ability to overcome negative, limiting beliefs of the world or face your own hidden fears, doubts and insecurities. Your gift of ZEAL helps to dissolve the subconscious barriers of mental, emotional and physical disease, illness and pain. Joy is an expression of ZEAL; it operates at a low frequency and is always ready to be released! Just think about the last time you were truly joyful and how you felt, that great feeling was your gift of ZEAL at work!
Apathy, which is the opposite of ZEAL, can make you feel like you just don’t have enough energy to accomplish your divine purpose. Regret of past mistakes, errors or transgressions, cripples your ability to use ZEAL by pulling you back instead of moving you forward. When that happens, wherever you are, get still, breathe deeply, take a few moments to forgive yourself and others for any past hurts, disappointments, anger, fears or doubts. With your gift of ZEAL you can move beyond those limited beliefs and experience the life you truly desire!
As you continue to develop your spiritual gifts, it’s vital that you release your former consciousness to make room for the new you! Ok, now you’re ready to use your gift of ZEAL it’s time to, “get up, get out and get something”! It is true, you let It be and there It is, Word!

The spiritual gift for the month of JUNE is IMAGINATION!
Your gift of IMAGINATION gives you the ability to look into the invisible realm and see your good even in the appearance of chaos and confusion in your physical world. IMAGINATION has been called, "the scissors of your mind", because it allows you to perceive the unlimited potential that lives within you. Even though your physical surroundings may not be what you desire them to be right now, your gift of IMAGINATION allows you to cut out clear images in your mind of how you truly desire to live. As you continue to do this, it is only a matter of time before you begin to manifest and experience the life you desire!
We’ve all heard the saying, "seeing is believing", that’s true in the physical world, however, when using your spiritual gift of IMAGINATION, "believing is seeing"! Everything begins with your thoughts, you must first "see it" with your divine eye, before you bring it into physical manifestation. It has been proven through spiritual belief and scientific research that when you begin to visualize what you truly desire to have in your life, you begin the process of bringing it into your everyday existence.
Use your gift of IMAGINATION as a movie projector within you, in your mind you should begin to have a clear picture of the life you truly desire to live, spiritually, personally, professionally, etc. People who are successful in any endeavor, medicine, entertainment, spirituality, law, sports, etc., have said, before they became successful, they used their IMAGINATION to visualize what it looked and felt like to be successful in their field!
Your spiritual gift of IMAGINATION allows you to give shape, form and color to unformed mental energy by rearranging divine energy until it’s the perfect answer your desire. God within you is always communicating to you, usually as a dream, a vision or a revelation, to show you your unlimited possibilities! Trust God, follow your intuition and allow your IMAGINATION to soar!
Your gift of IMAGINATION gives you the ability work toward living your dreams in a simple, yet effective way. Everyday take a few minutes of quiet time just to visualize yourself at the, “top of your game”, think about how your truly desire to live without the boundaries of time and space! The Temple Of Hiphop is pleased to announce that Hip Hop Appreciation Week 2009 is May 17-24 and our theme for this year is "COOPERATION!" HHAW, always celebrated during the third week of May, is a time for Hiphoppas to de-criminalize the images of Hip Hop that are portrayed by the mainstream media.
Now is the time, more than ever, for COOPERATION in our communities. The Hip Hop community should work together to organize our people, our knowledge and our resources as we continue to work through the challenges we are facing domestically and globally! There are many ways in which Hiphoppas can demonstrate COOPERATION, here are a just few suggestions. During HHAW we encourage Hiphoppas to intentionally:
Work with individuals and organizations that are working to make your community better.
Use HHAW as an opportunity to end personal disputes with anyone that you have had challenges with.
Volunteer with non-profit organizations, share your gifts and talents with your community, i.e. teach a class, mentor a youth, etc.
Network, build new alliances, form coalitions and partnerships that are mutually beneficial to all.
Become involved with a neighborhood watch group, community beautification committee, etc.
Create artistic collaborations using the various elements of Hip Hop culture.
Live, Teach and Promote the principles of the Hiphop Declaration Of Peace.

The spiritual gift for the month of MARCH is STRENGTH
Your spiritual gift of STRENGTH gives you the ability to use patience as you go through the challenges of life. When you are dealing with any obstacle, it’s important not to get caught up in temporary situation. Your spiritual gift of STRENGTH will allow you the ability to get still and focus on what is needed for the best outcome in any situation you encounter.
As you work toward fulfilling your destiny, there will be times when it seems like everything is going against you and you feel, "close to the edge". You may even have people around you, (especially family and friends) telling you that you should give up on your dreams because you’re too, ____ _ (fill in the blank), pay no attention to them! Most of them don’t really mean you any harm; they just can’t hear what God has told you about your divine purpose! During those times your spiritual gift of STRENGTH gives you the ability to have perseverance, to "keep on keepin’ on" and achieve your goals regardless of any people, places and things that are barriers on your path! Remember, time is a man made concept; God does not wear a watch!
Even when you have set clear goals, are focused and ready to "make it happen", there may be times when you still seem confused because your heart is "feeling" one way, and your head is "telling" you something else. During those times, you should get still and meditate on your spiritual gift of STRENGT H, which gives you the ability to achieve balance between your feeling nature and your thinking nature. This will allow you to make the best decision for your highest good and greatest joy!
We live in a diverse world that’s getting even more diverse every day. Let’s face it, there are some people and points of views that you don’t understand or agree with, and that’s okay! Your spiritual gift of STRENGTH will allow you to develop tolerance, which gives you the ability to be fair and just, even with people that you may not understand or agree with. Using this kind of STRENGTH will also keep you away from bigotry, prejudice and negative judgment of others. This will allow you to get more out of life by learning to value the diversity of humanity!
Most people associate STRENGTH with being physically=2 0strong, having power or acting in a forceful way. However, your spiritual gift of STRENGTH gives you the ability to use your inner power without using physical effort. As you continue to grow in your consciousness, use your STRENGTH to develop the patience, perseverance, balance and tolerance that will help you achieve your divine purpose! It is true, you let It be and there It is, Word!
